Thursday 18 July, the agreement had been settled between the labour union and federal government which changed the income from old to new. the agreement met the demand of the union.

The minister of information Mohammed Idris announced that the federal government and some members of labour agreed with 62,000 naira as new minimum wages for Nigerian worker.
